During the 14th edition of the National Conference of Statistics “A modern data ecosystem for an inclusive and sustainable recovery”, held on 30 November and 1 December 2021 for the first time in a hybrid form, consisting in alternating in-person Plenary sessions with virtual parallel sessions throughout the Scientific Programme, MAKSWELL project’s results were disseminated.

Infact, within the full calendar of initiatives, there was also an interesting online seminar entitled “I dati per definire e valutare le politiche” (Data to define and evaluate politics) planned on 1 December in the session OBIETTIVO SISTAN where Professor Tiziana Laureti from University of Tuscia presented the relevant results and progresses through experimental activities related to Big Data (scanner data and web scraping) while working at MAKSWELL project. She gave the presentation with the title “Stima a livello locale degli indici dei prezzi al consumo utilizzando nuovi fonti”.

On last 21st October the Final Conference of the H2020 MAKSWELL Project took place as fully virtual event, in the light of the coronavirus pandemic. Focus was on the most relevant results of the three-year research activity carried out by the MAKSWELL’s partners. The use of new data sources and statistical methodologies for improving the measurement frameworks for well-being and sustainability were presented and the way forward to deepen their role in policy-making processes.
