On last 18 December 2018 in Istat premises the VI edition of the BES Report (Benessere Equo e Sostenibile) took place in order to present the document which offers an integrated picture of the main economic, social and environmental phenomena characterizing the country of Italy, through the analysis of a wide set of indicators divided into 12 domains. Its content has a particular relevance for MAKSWELL as results and findings described in it are useful in many ways for the project research activities.

Within the Conference on New Techniques and Technologies for official Statistics (NTTS 2019) which will take place in Brussels  from 12 to 14 March 2019 the second workshop of MAKSWELL project has been included as satellite event on 15 March 2019. It represents a relevant opportunity to disseminate the research results of the project, encouraging the floor discussion on them, sharing the research experiences and promoting interactive discussions with invited keynote speakers. More info about the event here.

The Forum will explore the trends that will re-shape people’s lives in the decades to come. In addition to exploring and measuring future well-being, the sessions will cover three major trends – the digital transformation, the changing role of governance, and the emergence of the private sector as an important actor for ensuring sustainable and inclusive well-being. Date: 27 - 28 - 29 November 2018.

The Conference represents a relevant opportunity for MAKSWELL project to reach a targeted audience and show current and future activities.

In the session on “Equity and well-being”, the researcher Alessandra Tinto from Istat will give a presentation on the first research results of WP1 concerning the stocktaking of well-being and sustainability indicators.
