The Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) turns back on the issues about the Agenda 2030 and next February 26th will present the document "The Budget Law 2020 and sustainable development ".
The independent study assesses the impact of the provisions of the Budget Law on the different dimensions of sustainable development, in order to understand how the measures launched by the government affect collective well-being. The aim is to verify whether Italy has started to address its choices in favor of sustainability leading our country on a path of sustainable development.
Furthermore, the document will provide a focus on the 21 Targets of the 2030 Agenda expiring in 2020: at what point is Italy, and what were the reasons that did not allow us to achieve what had been set in September 2015?
The aim of the presentation scheduled at Parco della Musica Auditorium in Rome at 2.30 pm is to try to answer to these questions as well as to provide an update on the Italian situation relating to each Sustainable Development Goal, an update that follows the 2019 Report "Italy and the Sustainable Development Goals", announced the last October 4th (see our news of 27 September 2019).
The event will be attended, among others, by the President of the Senate Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and the President of the European Parliament David Maria Sassoli.
